ENTRODUCING #10 - Dead Belles

London-based noiseniks on the verge of releasing their debut single, the band Dead Belles are the subject of my ENTRODUCING column today.
Essentially, they've reached notoriety before their debut single release, with their furious live rep and honed sound so now is a pretty good time to jump on the Dead Belles bandwagon. A young trio prone to creating a lotta controlled chaos, their first single This Machine's Electric is a psychically nourishing work in heavy garage rock.

Controlled feedback and menacing guitar wallops that are much akin to the likes of US noise tyrants Vacant Lots and L-pool's own Gnod, this band and their debut single treads the line between psychedelic garage and heavy rock sludge in a way that you've gotta feel is perfect for a psychotropic heavy freakout.

They're playing a launch show for their debut record on 4th March in Deptford's Bunker Club, so hold us to this trio and it's gnostic brilliance get yourself down... They've also got an EP on the way by the name of Black Cats and White Elephants, so mark these boys as ones to keep your big beady eyes on.
