ENTRODUCING #14 - Sunface

Fully formed straight from song #1, the music of the fairly teenage DIY-pop master craftsman Sunface (aka Dan from indie rising stars Trash) is something you need in your life this very second. Over the past week, he's uploaded his first 2 tracks to Soundcloud, and they're primary examples of sun kissed bliss of the highest order - one a self-titled song and the other by the name of Summer Holidays.

Sunface is an artist whose sound sits somewhere between the bedroom pop of Teen Suicide and the summery acoustics of Mac DeMarco - if you're into these artists he'll undoubtedly make it to every single 'summer [sunglasses emoji] playlist' you have. The songs are well written, melodically glowing and structurally bolstering by electric choruses making the whole things very catchy sub-two minute affairs. Essentially, this is some of the most enjoyable indie music I've heard all year, and with Frankie Cosmos and Teen Suicide's next albums coming out on Friday a juicy slice of bedroom pop is just what I need in my life. But until then, and probably thereafter, give Sunface a spin because doing so will enhance your Summer even more than securing Glastonbury tickets would have done.
