NAOTD #6: Hear Sad Palace's Dreamy Debut 'Rainbow Melt'

On their debut single Rainbow Melt, south coast four piece Sad Palace give noughties rock vibes a refreshing twist. Zesty guitars flicker around a fuzzy vocal before melting into a washed out breakdown. With all the feedback driven charm of 'EP Delicious' era Peace, it's a bold opening statement and surely a sign of bigger things to come.

Louis from the group describes the track as being about "some of the thoughts that come to you when you wander around in the rain late at night after a party thinking about death. The mixture of optimism and pessimism you get at certain moments. Fuck, we're all gonna die, but that was still a great night, why worry? Maybe I should sleep more."

Rainbow Melt is online now, and available to pre-order on limited edition blue cassette, out Dec 9th via Kissability.
