Table Scraps: Savage Garage Rock Explorations In Retro 3D

Garage rock at its most confrontational and savage, Table Scraps are Birmingham's “most respected (and feared) fuzz merchants”. The trio’s latest effort My Obsession is their first since lead singer Scott’s skeletal surgery sees them back with a vengeance; an old skool 3D video sees the band returning even more savage and deranged than on their 2015 debut album More Time For Strangers.
A fierce, dirty guitar fights for prominence with some savage drums pummel you into submission with their primeval stomp. Raucous vocal harmonies give it a battlecry feel, whilst the track’s circling guitar lines give it that sense of danger that you yearn for from bloodthirsty rock ‘n’ roll troupes such as these. Tourmates of Yak, Ulrika Spacek and Idles, their Cramps-come-Sabbath riffing has only got more deadly over time, and if this is a sign of things to come, Table Scraps will be the band to watch in 2017.

Catch up on the rest of their back catalogue below, and catch 'em next week at the Old Blue Last with Queen Zee (2nd May, come get drunk with me)
